Default Re: Need Help With Portable DVD Setup

I got a cheap walmart setup for my Sonata that the monitors were in "bags" that a friction strap went through. Didn't hold for crap!!!

Went to Home Depot and got some 2" wide Velcro straps (they come as a 2 pack) used them instead and they hold AWESOME. You could place the bottom against headrest secure with Velcro then flip monitor over. If you need more holding power you could do one horizontal one vertical.

On my cheap ones (player is in one of the monitors) just the one strap holds it real tight.

They have been getting more use as of late for trips where we don't need as much space since the Sonata gets 30mpg highway versus maybe 17 in the Sequoia. Sequoia still awesome for winter skiing and hauling stuff but quick day trips/overnights the Sonata has a VERY large trunk and covers us pretty well.
