Default Camry XLE 1998 V6 Catalytic Converter
Camry XLE 1998 V6 98K miles.

Gas milage has been poor average 20 MPG.

I was told that one of the problems could be the Catalytic Converter. There are no check engine lights, but the converter makes allot of heat ticking noise after I am finished driving.

How do I determine if the converter needs to be replaced. Also, any suggestions or comments for the aftermarket converters that are found in places like ebay?
