I questioned Tom when he told me this and asked him if it was Toyota or perhaps a Toyota dealer, but Tom double-checked his invoice while I was on the phone with him and told me it was "Toyota Motor Sales USA" in California. He then told me that they called him and told him his drop kit was on YouTube (Tom spelled in UTube on his website ).

I think you might be right about buying the TRD kit for better handling, but I don't know how much better it could be. All I can tell you is I've dropped a few cars and trucks in my time and the TundraRacing kit rode as nice as (or nicer) than any kit I've used before (including a few TRD kits on Tacos, xB's, and tC's). If you're building a race truck, ride isn't that important, but if you're building a daily driver, I wouldn't hesitate to install the SOS TundraRacing kit. It's very high quality and it's easier to put on than the TRD kit.

As for your comment about Tundra Racing (aka SOS) not standing behind their kit, do you have an example? We recommended the kit on TundraHeadquarters - I want to make sure we didn't recommend someone with a bad reputation. Any light you can shed would be appreciated .
I wasn't saying they wouldn't stand behind there product but which do you think would be easier to get something fixed by? That is why alot of companies choose certain products to sell because of insurance liabilities. I'm sure that the Tundra Racing kit is a good kit to lower the vehicle, I don't doubt that TRD used a couple of those kits to lower the concept TRD Tundra all i was saying is that they are two completly different kits that cant be compared to each other.
