Default Very Inexpensive Headrest LCD / DVD Setup

We purchased a Sony FX-820 Portable DVD player for $180, it has a screen that flips around like a tablet PC.

I wanted to make something that was easy to attach to the headrest, yet not become a flying projectile in the event of an accident.

This is made out of 1/4" fiberboard with a plastic coating on both sides. I'm not sure of the name. Each piece was glued with Tightbond, clamped, and left to dry before adding the next one. After it was together, I added gorilla glue to the joints on the inside to give it more strength...then sanded the edges and gave it them a quick coat of white spray paint. Nylon webbing (strong stuff) was then glued around the edges and a strap. On the strap areas, I drilled some small holes in the wood and then sewed the strap on through those holes (like a button). I added some felt to the inside just to give it enough friction to hold it securely yet allow us to pull it out without too much effort.

Here are some pictures. Total cost was less than $190 and a few hours of time.
