Re: Ethos Fuel Reformulator?
Hi, my husband and I have been using ETHOS for 7 weeks now., and consistently we're seeing about a 1/4 tank gas savings/week--around here that's about $15.00., so we're happy with it. If you'd like more info, see my signature link. There's a ton of info that should help answer any other questions you may have.
Anyone living in the San Diego area, you may be interested in touring the ETHOS plant.

Their website is Ethos Fuel Reformulator. I am extremely skeptical of anything claiming that their "miracle product" can increase gas mileage (this one claims 7-19% with a 30% reduction in emissions while increasing engine life). It's statements like "Ethos FR reduces emissions without adding any of its own components to the exhaust since it is 99.99976% ashless upon combustion...". It is extremely rare to have the capability to measure anything to that number of significant digits.
It's supposed to be $20/pint, which will last 160 gallons of gas. I ran through the numbers using my Accord's fuel economy (28.5 mpg driving 2000 mi/month) and gas prices of $2.50/gal and $3/gal. The result over the course of a month was a savings of $3.27-20.59 if gas costs $2.50/gal and $5.56-26.18 if it costs $3.00/gal. The range is based on the 7-19% improvement.
Anyway, has anyone else heard of this product? I'll have to wait until I read some independent results of this type of product before I'd buy it, but was curious if anyone else was using it.
