Default Re: Time to sell the Tundra???

hi, Ltning: you made the right move.
if it ever gets to 8+dollars per gallon. good god, i don't care how much you make, & how much you love your truck, if you do not use it for work related issue's.
you will have no choise to either use it only when you need it.
but you as many other's will be in seach for a 2nd vehicle that gets 30 to 50 miles per gallon. that just makes since.
i just can't see myself in a tiny car.
there death trap's.
especailly if i had small children, thank god my kids are grown.
i can't imagine trying to save a few bucks in gas and by doing so, i got into a crash and the car thats the size of a mini or smaller, would help save my child's life.
air bags, crunch zones, etc. they will crumble up into a small box, or worse tear apart.
hey it's your money, and your family's life.
i try my best to keep them as safe as possible. like i'm sure all of you would.

but what are all of us going to do, when gas on average will cost us per week 200 to 300 per week. 10per gallon X 26 gallons to fill the tank = 260 per tank full.

there plastic tanks. i'd bet there will be a HUGE gas problem. many people will be ice picking gas tanks at night. stealing tanks of gas. better put 1" heavy guage steel platting around the whole tank and all it's gas line's.
