Heck no. . . I have a "perpetual motion machine" that I've been working on in my workshop. Hook it up between your battery and a container of water and it recharges your battery which you can use to run an electric motor which you can hook up to your alternator, which you then won't have to attach to your fanbelt, and without the drag of the alternator, you will get like 35 more HP and gain at least 3-4 MPG.
