Water drains from the door handles, and mirrors all down the side of the doors after any wash. If you don't blow the water out you'll eventually have dried water stains, which are more difficult to remove later on. Keep these areas coated well with a protectant and wax to protect the finish as best you can. This will also make these stains easier to remove when you're ready to do so.
