Default Re: Supplying more power to my factory stereo

The ipod connection can be made fairly easily and for not much dinero. I would recommend that you plan your future upgrades carefully, figure out what you really want and then search the internet for products that will work for you. I personally wanted to retain the factory head and steering wheel controls on my truck and have the ability to connect an mp3 player along with far more output power. I used an alpine oem stereo interfacing product called the PXE-h650 along with 2 alpine amps,2 10" sony subs, infinity kappa separates front and rear. it's all installed stealthly so as to not draw thieves attention. No further upgrades needed. Good luck on your upgrades.
