Re: 2007 Tundra TRD lowering suspension kit.
Lithia Toyota returned my truck after the second day that they had it and still unable to correct the driveline vibration. I took the truck home and shimmed the carrier bearing approximatley 1/2". After shimming the carrier bearing it has virtually eliminated the vibration, still very slight vibration at 70 miles an hour with light throttle pressure.
Sent TRD an email with no responce, called again and said that they spoke to Lithia and I was to return my truck and have factory suspension put back on and TRD will refund my money including the labor to install. Does that sound like a packaging issue to you?
I want this suspension kit, so I have scheduled an appointment Wednesday to have another shop replace the 3 degree pinion wedge with another shim that will correct driveline geometry. If that does not fix the vibration I am scheduled to take truck into Lithia Thursday and I will have stock stuff put back on and maybe look at the Groundforce or BellTeck lowering kit.
