K&N filters out less dirt particles than a stock paper filter? Than why do they use a cotton oiled washable filter in their trd intake? Why do desert racing teams use K&N products? I have used K&N filter for more miles than most people drive in 25 years (at the 12k average) and have never had a filtering problem with K&N. Trd parts are nice but they cost more than they are worth. The trd parts are not even made by toyota their made for toyota and their hp gains for the dollar are ridiculous really 6-8 hp for their intake and it's almost $400 give me a break. Also in reference to the previous post that exhaust systems cannot make power is false you have to realize the truck was designed around a robot that puts it together. Yes the exhausts on todays cars are freer flowing but they are by no means optimized for performance.
