I have the 285/65/18 and I haven't really noticed anything like that (also haven't been paying attention) but I do notice it's a bit harder to get up hills without giving it some stick. There's a few steeeeeep hills here (that I've seen a pickup truck and a BMW get stuck on at the same time but the pickup made it about 30 feet farther lol) and I notice that to get up the hill I have to take it up to about 3K rpm and that's even keeping me in last place.
If the price of gas is under 3.75 when I fill up today or tomorrow I'll give you a WOT.

I do alot of driving on 6-7% grades, I have the 4.7L and I guess I havent noticed to much because I do so much driving in "S" mode...I will try to pay more attention and see if this happens
