So one more question. The Duragloss 652 Pre-cleaner is listed as a Pre-polishing agent for removal of scratches, oxidation, and water spots. The question is do I really need to do the Optimum compound or could the DG 652 perform the same step as the compound would be used?

So, if I don't have any big sratches or swirls marks I should be Ok with using the steps I have outlined above? Also would I use the orange pad (cut pad?) for applying the DG 652? I have already purchased these items and just waiting on the PC machine now.
