Default Re: Improving gas milage advice

An item for thought--- In the 70s car started coming with an air dam under the front bumper to improve MPG by reducing drag under the car.

The new GM SUVs have their front bumper extended down, leaving about 8" of clearance.

The 2008 Ford Super Duty series trucks have an air dam that may be adaptable. It could line up with the front edge of the skid plate (not the option one) and may not hang any lower the the bottom of the skid plate, providing a 8" +/- air dam.

Has anyone fabricated and installed an air dam on their Sequoia?
