It must have a problem with the sender in the tank or a problem with the gauge itself. Has anyone had the same problem? I have a service appointment so the dealer can look at it, but I'd like to be informed before they try to fix it.
This is a known fact with the Tundra and becoming apparent with the '08 Sequoia as well. My vehicle does the exact same thing. Do a search for fuel gauge on the Tundra forum and you'll see what I mean. Doubt the dealer will be able to do anything for you.
