I would love to have the diesel. I've got a buddy that drove from the Bay Area to Phoenix and then back towing another truck with his Diesel Sierra on about 5 gal of fuel. Granted he has a vegetable oil burner kit on his truck. Even with the extra work of filtering the stuff down and the cost of the kit at $5+ a gallon for diesel or $4+ for gas it will pay pretty quick. He also claims the power loss from teh oil isn't that much and he has more than made it back in other mods.
