Thanks for the compliment. I'm not sure about the Metra since I have the Scosche and haven't attempted to remove it since the install, but I'm pretty sure the kits are similar and I don't think mine would be too hard. The kit uses the same factory screws that held the OEM radio in place, so all you need to do is remove the AC controls to expose them (just like with the install). The hardest part I would imagine would be freeing the clips on the 4 corners without breaking them. With a little patience I'm sure it would be done. But like I said, I've never tried so others feel free to chime in.
