Question Michelin LTX A/T2 or LTX M/S

[I screwed up and posted this on the suspension forum, so my apologies for double posting this to the tire forum.]

Costco is once again having a sale on Michelins so it's time I finally punt my gawdawful Toyos for something--I hope--better. Quick background: After my OEM BFGs buggered out, I decided to go up a size and bought Toyo LT265/75/16 Open Country A/Ts. I figured that the size and 6C load rating would better suit my truck, though I don't typically go off road or carry heavy loads. But ya know, better to have it and not need it....

Fast forward to 63,000 miles later and endless attempts by Les Schwab, Costco, and Toyota to balance the darned things--chronic shaking and steering wheel twitching, noisy, and overall miserable driving experience. Simply terrible tires that even balancing beads couldn't cure. I could never figure out if I basically had bad tires, if Tundras don't work well with higher load rated tires, or if the step up in size had something to do with my problems.

So now I've decided (actually, Costco's liability averse fitment policy decided for me, but that's another story) to go back down to OEM size and try either the Michelin LTX A/T2 (P265/70/16) or the LTX M/S (P265/70/16). The former seems stronger while the latter sounds like it would give a nicer ride. Both have load index of 111 and the same max load weight, though the A/T2 will go to 44 lbs while the M/S maximum pressure is 35 lbs.

Can anyone give me advice on which Michelin might be better suited for my truck? I guess I'm concerned that the A/T2 won't be very smooth or vibration free.

Thanks,
Erik
