My first post so be gentle. My 98 Avalon with column shift started making a scraping noise that comes from the steering wheel/ column cover whenever I turn the steering wheel. I did a search and found that most also had a horn,air bag or cruise problem. Mine all work...just that noise. Can anyone give me some guidance on what/how to look for problem.
