Re: synthetic oil
Toyota has a full synthetic too that:
- Is specificially designed by Toyota for Toyotas
- Is tested and approved by Toyota
- Is formulated for specific Toyota gasoline engines (e.g. 2007 on up Camry 4 cyl)
- Improves fuel economy
BUT, no matter how good Toyota oil may be, most owners would not consider using it because is dull and boring compared to synthetics that sound special and exciting like: "Royal Purple" "Mobil One" "Pennzoil Platinum" and which make sensational claims like "lasts 15,000 miles"
