Thanks again for all the replies. Yes the compressor is loud but that does not bother me as long as it is working.

I am wondering if anyone has actually checked their truck while idling to see how often is cycles. Like I said, mine is every 10-15 seconds.

This happens regardless of how warm it is outside, how warm the truck is, and RPM range (brake torqueing at 2500rpm and it still happens).

I would really like to know the exact same result from another truck.
