bbolton, thanks for the help. i am thinking about the 8120, just looking at difference in price and everything. the only thing i dont like about the new one is that i was told by kenwood that they do not plan on making the usb be able to play video files and that if they do, they dont know when, and i beleive that with the 7100, you can play video files through usb, which is kind of nice, i could buy a portable hard drive keep it in my glove box and use that for music and videos, but i guess i could also do the same thing with an ipod as well. also thanks for showing us all the boyo cameras. i didnt even think about doing it that way until i saw yours. before that i was going to get the expensive hard route and do the factory cam install, but the boyo is a better quality anyway. thanks again
