Not a problem Jon. I would definitely check out the Boyo, I have absolutely no complaints about mine. I would probably recommend doing an iPod set up in lieu of an external harddrive (I considered this as well) simply for the easier and faster navigation you'd get with the iPod vs. an external hd. My 12,000+ songs would be an absolute nightmare to scroll though on a HD (it's already pretty time consuming!). I think the extra money you'd spend on a 160GB iPod vs. 160 external would be well worth the ease of use. Just my 2 cents though, good luck with the install, can't wait to see some pics!! -Brad
P.S. one more thing to consider. This may not be all 7100's, but the album artwork on my 30gb iPod video worked fine but the headunit required a firmware update to display album artwork from my 160 gb iPod classic...
