It seems as though my VIN is NOT included in this TSB (at least, I think I'm reading the TSB correctly...), yet I cetainly have the "clunk".

So it will be interesting to see what the dealer says. Ovviously, the TSb tells me Toyota's stance is now that the CLUNK is NOT normal and should be repaired, yet they believe my truck falls outside of this issue.

Either way, I expect it to be fixed, hopefully this isn't an excuse for them to play hardball and not fix my truck because it falls outside the VIN range.

How many others have the CLUNK but have VIN's outside the VIN ranges?

Typically those VIN ranges denote when a defective (or needs to be replaced) part was in production. Supposedly all trucks made after that VIN range already have the fix.
