Hey Jon, the only reason I have to touch my iPod is to take it out of the truck. The ipod navigation is surprisingly fast, you can navigate seamlessly through artists to albums to playlists, and the headunit fully controls the video. From the main ipod screen you're prompted with a music or video navigation keys. From the video key, you can browse TV shows, movies, etc. subfolders just like you do in itunes. It definitely works flawlessly with my 160gb ipod classic, but I can't speak to the functionality with other ipod versions.

I'm trying to decide what to get. I would guess anything is better than the stock non-JBL setup I have now. Just wanted to get some opinions.

Thanks for the help.
I LOVE my DB's so far. I listen to a variety of music generally at high volume and these things will get a loud and high as you can stand and still maintain their clarity. I'm not an expert in car stereos by any means, but I've redone the audio in every vehicle I've owned and these components, in my opinion, are the best for the money that I've had (I've run Infinity, Boston, and Focal in the past).
