Keep in mind that the TSB says the fix REDUCES the condition...it doesn't FIX it. Also, I don't believe we're talking about a little "slack" either.

This is how someone described it (below)...and this is what the dealer is looking for apparently...


"I pull up to a stop sign and it feels like I've been rear ended. Then, when you start out, it feels like the brake release is delayed with another klunk. I've been told the two piece drive shaft gets air compressed inside, and when the compression leaks out, you get the klunk. "

The 4Runners V8 4WDs have this condition as well....No TSB
