so my vin is not on the list. like you said it will not fix the problem. so you think i need to have it changed? or no. i really dont know if keep goin to dealer to try to have it changed or just live with it. yes, i called a very good friend of mine and he told me that i SHOULD NOT have "the slack" not at all. yes soprry i was wrong i thought little bump was kinda normal. now i now its NOT. the again. should i have it changed/. you guys thiunk it will fix the problem or just gonna be like it is now? cus my vin is not on the list. thanks guys for all the help. im a rookie in this matter

This is how someone described it (below)...and this is what the dealer is looking for apparently...
"I pull up to a stop sign and it feels like I've been rear ended. Then, when you start out, it feels like the brake release is delayed with another klunk. I've been told the two piece drive shaft gets air compressed inside, and when the compression leaks out, you get the klunk. "
The 4Runners V8 4WDs have this condition as well....No TSB
