Resetting the ECU doesn't improve mileage. They reset it so the computer can adjust for the added airflow so burning the fuel can be more efficient. If you drive the same path everyday and you don't vary how much you put your foot on the pedal you won't see a difference in mileage increase. If you don't believe resetting the ECU does anything different try adjusting your driving and gas it at every stop. Your truck will learn and you will get less.

I give it enough gas to where my truck shifts just under 2k rpms. Then I set my cruise. Before this mod I was getting 17.5 mpg on the computer and by my math. Now that I removed the HC I get 19 mpg.
