Default Re: 19.8mpg after HC removed!

Drove the truck a little more today on the highway. At 65mph it still does about the same as before, 18-19.5mpg. Nothing to sneeze at mind you, but no real improvement.

I did do my first oil change today (whomever designed that filter housing should be horse whipped). Instead of running 0W-20, which I don't trust to maintain viscosity for 5000 miles in hot weather, and I couldn't find; I am using Mobil 1 0W-30. So I will log the affects (if any) on fuel economy, and when I change out the 0W-30 I will try to get a used oil analysis done to see how the engine likes it if fuel economy remains the same.
