Thanks for the fast reply NOLA. I didnt expect them to have removed the charcoal filter, but I
did think they would have tuned for the TRD intake. I was just curious if the charcoal filter removal would make much differance. Anyway I have emailed Unichip the same question.
I have a unichip authorized tuner shop close by. They just told me they charge $150. an hour to tune, and it takes from 1 to 2 hours to tune. I asked how much more I could expect to gain and they said they have not done a tundra 5.7 as yet, so they could not say. I may give them a try.

Yes we are planning on doing a TRD CAI - we are currently waiting parts
- there should be no difference between filter in or out - but our
engineers will make a note to check just in case.
