I'll never forget the time my uncle got a hold of some professional fireworks. I was a kid of maybe 7. He took the back seat out of his car and hid behind it after lighting the fuses. He didn't have a clue, and almost got himself blown up. Sparks rained down, and some of us got some burns. We were all too close. I was scared spitless, but it was memorable; really big stuff, loud as thunder. It was on the farm, so no cops or neighbors to complain.

At 7 yrs old, that must have been some experiance !!!!!
