It is very easy, all you do is:
1. make sure you have ODO set up (not on trip 1, or trip 2).
2. push and hold button (like you want to reset your trip)
3. put keys into ignition, and turn ignition (but don't start your SUV)
4. you should see similar to this ------- on ODO, and then it will reset your service light
