I've had the peeling paint problems with my 2006 Matrix, and now my 2008 matrix. BOTH were the cosmic blue. These ARE NOT paint chips--it looks like the paint has been almost melted off, down to the primer. My 2008 matrix only has 5500 miles on it!!

I DID NOT have the auto armor paint warranty on the first car, and the dealer refused to do anything to help me out. On my new car, I purchased the coverage. I will keep you posted what the deal says when I take it in next week. I firmly believe this is a defect of some sort.
