That crew cab Hino with some tool boxes on the sides and an Alaskan camper on the bed would be just the ticket for me.
If someone want to split this thread into a Hino thread do so as I believe this is a worth while discussion. BTW is the crew cab available in the US? If so used ones ought to be out there.
13 mpg sound about correct for a truck like this. I drive several work rigs: F450, straight 6 White Freightliner with a 36 foot bed and a Isuzu 4 cylinder tilt cab. They all seem to do well on diesel as long as I don't get on it going through passes. In other words if I stay within the posted speed limits the fuel economy does well if not the fuel consumption goes south.
