You do not need anything else in order to safely use the Bilsteins. That was the whole point of the kit, to allow a little height and a little more travel without necessitating new upper ball joints, limiting droop travel, binding the joints, or topping out the shock.

The only thing I'd recommend is for 4WD trucks, and that's 930 CV boots, CV boot clamp mod, and differential drop spacers if you feel they are warranted.
