I'm not sure about that but if you have the issue and have not gone back to have them add lubrication to the internals of the slip yoke, you should have that done. I'd be willing to bet it'll cure your problem. It did for myself and BigDerf. It's been almost a week for me and still no clunk/thud. Hopefully it'll stay that way.
