What can you tell me that would allow me to properly explain this to the service manager?
If he says adding grease via the zerk will cure the problem he doesn't know what he's talking about. They have to break the driveshaft down and add synthetic grease internally. It's a 2 piece drive shaft, it will come apart. Tell him to call toyota technical which is who my dealer (Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville, FL) worked with. Or have him call the service manager at my dealer. Nelson Ryan or Thomas Hencel. They can explain anything he needs to know.
