Ever noticed water on the floor directly beneath the blower? You might have a leak that is messing-up the blower motor.

There was a post some time ago about some mounting bolts through the firewall that allow water to seep into the blower motor housing. I think the bolts hold some of the duct work in place. Anyway, some silicone caulk will fix the leak.

I took my blower assembly apart and found rust and other junk associated with water. I cleaned and lubed it, then put it back in and figured I would buy a new one when the original finally quit. That was two years ago and the thing still works like new. Sooner or later, I will replace the blower motor and seal those bolts.
