Okay well since I was getting new wheels and did not want to worry about that annoying light on the dash. I decided after some research here and other places the easiest method to bypass this for less than 15.00 bucks and a DIY project that you can do in less than a hour. I did test the can after I made it since coming home from the tire shop I had the light on right away since the TPMS units were in a box and not in a the wheels any longer. After building the pressure can I was able to fill it to about 35 psi and reset the light on the dash drove around a week no problems. Next week I left the unit in the garage as I went to work and as soon as I got about 15 miles or so the dash ligth came back on. Got home put unit back in the truck and reset the light, after a week more not more dash light. This was a simple and easy fix for the dash light issue for those of us that do not want to go back to the dealer to have them program in new units or buying more TPMS sensors.
Well on to the pics ...
This ones completed with TPMS units in the the tube and 35 psi of air in it.
Next ones are after I applied some spray in bedliner paint I had left over from another project from a spray can.
I now have it wire tied up in the truck under my rear seat and its out of the way too. Just thought I share what I did to remedy my TPMS dash light, in case anyone else may want to try this in the future.
