I suppose one could do that if you knew where to go for it.. I personally wouldn't have a clue who to call for steel plates nor what they would cost to have them cut out and powdercoated so nicely as the Willybar.

It all comes down to the costs though.. if the WB is going to cost an arm and a leg then that'd be a shame and I'd have to give some thought to making my own but if it's barely more or equal to the cost of those raw materials and the headache of tracking those things down myself then sign me up for a WB!.
