I had a Westin bull bar save my butt in my 01 Yukon XL. The truck tracked out of lane in the snow and swung around, azz first. The bull bar hit an embankment, spun the truck violently in a 360, then the trailer hitch hit the same embankment and shot the truck back into the road. The bull bar brackets were bent and the trailer hitch was absolutely fine. Wiped off the mud, re-hung the exhaust in the rubber hanger and went on my way. Without front protection, the truck would have been toast.
