Default Re: Unichip Tuner

hooray! thanks nola! i got mine today and nearly pi$$ed in my pants with excitement. excellent packaging too! makes me feel confident that this baby withstood any fedex handlers.

i was going to install it, but i had to take off for school. the instructions are straight forward and suggest installing it behind the glovebox (i have an '06 dc). instructions say to disconnect the battery. i don't have a problem doing that but will that erase my homelink settings? i don't mind re-programming the clock and radio presets, but the homelink is horrible. i have 2 separate gates to program and they are on steep slopes, so running back and forth to the truck is a pain. PLUS since our gates are rolling codes, if i reprogram my truck, i have to program 4 other vehicles. what a pain!

please tell me the homelink settings will keep if disconnecting the battery to install my chip......
