I am still quite concerned about the lean readings I get on my wideband o2 readings (low 15s and 14s) in 1st and 2nd gear. 3rd gear is marginal with mid to high 13s towards redline. For those of you without a wideband you have probably noticed that the power is pretty weak in those (1st and 2nd) gears with a noticeable jump in power on the shift into 3rd.
I would be satisfied overall if there was not an issue in the first 2 gears as the unichip did seem increase power enough to justify the expense. I do not want to be risking my engine with the first 2 gears being so lean.
I also tried taking off my airraid intake and driving a few hundred miles. Power went down a little, fuel mileage went down a little, and the o2 sensor readings improved very slightly. I am going to put it back on.
Maybe some time spent with my gtech would be well spent. That way we would have more data for others to see. I will be running in 4wd so I don't have to worry about the electronic nannies messing with my results.
