Did you turn off traction and VSC before you raced?

Guess I'll try that before I take it out, pulled the battery to reset the code and bumped the chip back down to the less agressive setting. I'm running 89 in it but the lowest elevation I see is 3300 feet so I figured I was fine.
I had the traction contol half/on until I stopped at a light after the second time he tried to run me in town. Was at about 95 when I really started leaving him but I always noticed a gain in the top end with the chip. Funny thing is the midrange power seems better once the traction control lets go with it's still on. I drive fairly aggressive and the truck would jump before the chip, now it seems like the traction control doesn't let it do that.
I really wish I had the 08 traction control with the VSC off and LSD on but the 07 doesn't. Also thinking about putting the chip in the 08 and seeing if it responds the same way.
The 08 consistantly get's 16-17 but it has stock tires still. Have 33x12.50's Toyo MT's on the 07 and I know they are much heavier, I think it's close to 30 pounds. Before that I had my 305 BF AT KO's, not as heavy but still never got the milage the 08 does.
Did you get the harnesses to mount the way they have them in the picture or hovering over the top so all the harnesses would fit like me and a few others on here?
