Try calling them and ask to speak to Mike Timmons or Jack Friedman. I was told that the 15:1 you saw was a dyno quirk because of the way you have to run the tundra to keep it from downshifting. The way your dyno was run, the tundra went into fuel saving mode, as it would during a towing situation. I think this is typical on dynos with the Tundra. It senses load, but the throttle is opened gradually over a specific amount of time. In a stock situation, the ecu senses this and goes from 12:1 for power, to 13:1 or more for better towing economy. The Unichip adjusted the stock values on the dyno by two points or so, going from 13:1 to 15:1. 15:1 to 15:5 gives better fuel economy than stoich or less. The key is that it really wasn't a WOT situation requiring a rich condition because of a number of variables. Load, duration, throttle position, and other sensors that I have no clue on. In a true WOT situation, which you can only do on the street because of downshifting on a dyno, your Unichip adjusted AFRs would be around 13:1 instead of 12:1 or as low as 10.5-11:1 for the best combination of power and economy. Once you are actually able to run it without downshifting, you hit the speed limiter which limits the potential horsepower. In the near future, we'll be able to get off some clean runs...Don't lose faith in the product. It is a VERY capable tuner. You really need to speak with Jack on the phone so that he can fully explain the situation. He understands the Tundra's components better than we do.
