Default Re: Tundra frame rust recall???

I just stopped in to my local toyota dealership and the service manager took a look at it. He said that if I get it patched then do not file a complaint. If I decide to file a complaint, then don't get it patched. He seemed like a jerk. He didn't seem to concerned about the truck whether or not that its safe to drive. In my personal opinion I'm not going to take any chances by driving around with rusted out frame support bracket.

Anyways, I just got off the phone with toyota customer service and told them about the truck. All they did was take my information down and gave me a case number. At this time, there is nothing that can be done.

I just took the truck into my local mechanic to patch that frame support bracket and check for other places where there are weak spots in the frame. I'll let you know how much the price will be for repair.

I didn't think that toyota would do anything about it anyways.
