Re: Tundra frame rust recall???
You Guys are making me cry like a lil sissy!
I was under my truck last night checking things out and found that my frame is suspect to the rust issue. Seems like the joints are the worst, but the flaky stuff is also on some of the flat surfaces.
Even if the buy back program kicks in I do not want to give up my 00 for anything! So far the rust is surface only and with a wire brush and a sore arm later I can clean most of it up.
What can be done to correct the problem? Can someone suggest a way to control the rust factor...another New England winter ahead!
