Default Re: synthetic oil

BOLOMK 33 I don't know as if I would use synthetic on my 07 camry I am hearing that the new ws fluid now being used by toyota and lexus is NOT THE same as standard synthetic fluid. I am going to call Amsoil to see if they have come up with a replacement for the ws fluid. There standard synthetic tans fluid will replace type 4 that toyota has been using for years uptill the new 2007 camary and later models. MY 1986 cressida went 429,000 miles on mobil one in the trans and motor and power steering and rear end and no problems ever. I AM THINKING THAT ON THE 2007 CAMARY AND LATER MODELS CHANGE THE WS TRANS FLUID AT 50,000 MILES JUST FOR PEACE OF MIND I KNOW TOYOTA SAY 100,000 MILES IS OK BUT I JUST FEEL BETTER DOING IT AT 50K.
