That's about what I would expect from a member of Congress. Blame Bush, blame the Fed, blame the Treasury, blame Wall Street, blame everyone
EXCEPT Congress and the American people.

It was members of Congress like her that started this mess when they were accusing banks of discrimination just a few years ago. It was members of Congress who failed in their oversight responsibility. And it was the American people who didn't learn their lesson when the tech bubble burst and dove headlong right into another one. I don't disagree with her opinions, but I would have a lot more respect for her if she would at least acknowledge that she and her colleagues deserve a good portion of the blame as well.
