I think you're going to have a hard time "proving" whether there was any teflon on there one way or another.

Most likely, to make sure, the dealer should be able to provide you with a bottle of the treatment that they used to you can reapply it every 6 months or 7,500 months or so.

If it's a new vehicle and the paint is beading when water is on it, it has something on there for sure.
